Leader/Foreman/Climber Responsible Duties:

- Ability to remove and trim trees with a compact track aerial lift, bucket truck, climbing, and cranes.
- Direct and train climbers and groundsmen – communicating for a safe work environment.
- Ability to enforce and follow ANSI, TCIA, and OSHA standards.
- Operate a variety of different equipment (compact track aerial lifts, mini loaders, grinders, chippers, log trucks, winch, etc.)
- Work is in all types of weather/seasons, this position is year-round – hot and cold, and able to lift approximately 50lbs.
- Properly maintain equipment and tools by conducting routine inspections and preventative maintenance.
- Understand how to properly remove and identify dead/excess branches from trees.
- Operate loaders, stump grinders, brush chippers, power/hand saws, and trucks.
- Climb trees using hooks, belts, ropes, and ladders to gain access to work areas.
- Supervise others engaged in tree trimming and removing – the ability to teach team members.
Education/Experience Requirements:
- Arborist Certification a plus or willingness to obtain.
- CDL Class A required.
- MINIMUM 3-5 Years’ Experience in Climbing Trees.
- Pesticide Applicator License (Plant Health Care) a plus but not required.
- Reliable transportation for the daily commute.
